SSP national spokesperson Colin Fox is to join a range of authors, actors and other public figures when he reads part of the multi volumed Chilcot Report today (Tuesday 16th) at the Iraq out and Loud Fringe show in Edinburgh at 12 noon.
Organised by Fringe veterans Bob Slayer and Omid Djalili, the show hopes to bring the Fringe’s creative community together with its vast international audience in order to examine the Iraq War and the UK’s role in it. Reading the entire report is expected to take over two weeks at a rate of 120 words per minute.
Colin said:
“The Scottish Socialist Party opposed Tony Blair’s war on Iraq at the time and have demanded that the truth about it be told since”
“I am delighted for this opportunity to play a part in this imaginative show’s aim of taking the Chilcot Report and its finding to both the Fringe and a wider live streamed audience”
The show at at Venue 212, Bob’s Blundabus, South College St EH8 9AA
